I love what I do and want your video to be a fun, relaxing experience that you’ll look back on and love. I believe your film should tell your story. Every couple is unique and we want to craft a film that reflects that! I want your wedding film to make you cry, laugh, and have ALL the feels!
From a young age I had a passion for writing and storytelling, for creativity and the arts. Before diving into the wedding world, I worked in feature filmmaking and promotional filmmaking where I had the chance to travel the world and learn cultivate film/video techniques. I shot my first wedding and the rest was history. Now I absolutely love bringing the "film-like" cinema-style approach to my couple's videos.
Hello, I’m Jillian and I'm an East-Coast gal, lover of love, and I'm all about capturing people's stories. I'm married to my best friend, and mom of the sweetest little human, Evelyn, or "Evie" as we call her. When I'm not filming/editing, you can find me spending time with my family & friends, enjoying a good book, spending time outdoors, finding something to decorate (ie. interior design),
I LOVE || Jesus, the East Coast, heart-to-hearts with kindred spirits, down time on the couch spent with family & friends, road trips, thrifting, hospitality, rooibos loose-leaf, Red (Taylor's Version) camaraderie with fellow creatives, the great outdoors, crisp fall air, classic films (The OG Anne of Green Gables, anyone??), eating greens (...unless there is chocolate), overseas + multicultural experiences.

From a young age I had a passion for writing and storytelling. Before diving into the wedding world, I worked in feature filmmaking and promotional filmmaking where I had the chance to travel the world and learn/cultivate film techniques. I LOVED what I did. As soon as I shot my first wedding for a family friend... I was sold. Documenting people on the happiest day of their lives? Yes please! In 2015 I co-founded Compass Wedding Collective with besties, Mia and Laina. Jump forward to 2021, though Laina and Mia have had life changes (congrats to being a full time mom, Mia!), we've made a few adjustments, and Compass now offers video exclusively. I'm in partnership with Laina Tortiricci Photography (She's incredible, book her!) and couldn't be more thrilled about capturing love stories as a job.
That’s a little sneak peek into how I got into the wedding world. We all have a different story to share and that’s why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too!)”
